[email protected] Hometown: Chagrin Falls, OH How did you become an artist? (Briefly describe your journey): I have knitted since I was five years old and have a love of texture and fiber. Since retirement I have had time to explore different means of using both. Why did you choose the Les Cheneaux Area as a place to reside and make your art? We love the area and our home on Coryell Island which inspires creativity. What inspires you? Nature and its colors and textures inspire me. Describe your art in one sentence: My work represents different ways of processing and displaying fiber. When you are not making art what are you most likely doing? When not doing art, I am most likely outside enjoying nature and being inspired for my next project. What is your favorite sandwich? I don't really care for sandwiches, but prefer what goes in them! |
