How did you become an artist? (Briefly describe your journey):
I became a State Certified Welder in 1977. I worked several jobs til 1991 when I started Dunn Hill Iron Works and starts creating functional art.
Why did you choose the Les Cheneaux Area as a place to reside and make your art?
I live on Dunn Hill, 4th generation of Dunns to live here since 1880.
What inspires you?
Nature, and creating metal art that inspires my customers.
Describe your art in one sentence:
Metal art that depicts the nature of the LCI.
When you are not making art what are you most likely doing?
Campfire cooking, fishing, hunting and whittling.
What is your favorite sandwich?
Venison with onion and mayonnaise.
