Rick is originally from Detroit and now lives in Cedarville. He makes decorative and functional hand-blown glass items including platters, sculptures, hanging ornaments, vases, goblets, and perfume bottles. His work is colorful and whimsical and many pieces are one of a kind. Most of Rick's glass is blown in the winter months - it is more comfortable in front of a hot glass furnace that way - and he sells at art fairs in the summer.
Rick travels often and enjoys cross-country skiing, hiking, reading, pondering words and life's other curiosities, and playing fetch with Bruce the Wonder Dog. Bruce enjoys eating, playing fetch, walking, and hanging out with his best friend Keara.
